After the Beatles broke up in 1970, each of the four members embarked on solo careers. Some were more successful than others, but all of them produced some memorable music during this time.

John Lennon

John Lennon was the most successful Beatle solo artist. His 1971 album Imagine is one of the best-selling albums of all time, and it contains some of his most iconic songs, including "Imagine," "Jealous Guy," and "Give Peace a Chance."

Lennon also released a number of other successful albums during the 70s, including Plastic Ono Band (1970),Mind Games (1973),and Walls and Bridges (1974). He also collaborated with his wife, Yoko Ono, on a number of albums, including Two Virgins (1968) and Double Fantasy (1980).

Lennon was assassinated in 1980, but his music continues to be popular today. He is considered one of the most influential musicians of all time.

Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney was another successful Beatle solo artist. His 1970 album McCartney was a commercial and critical success, and it contains some of his most popular songs, including "Maybe I'm Amazed," "Every Night," and "Junk."

McCartney also released a number of other successful albums during the 70s, including Ram (1971),Band on the Run (1973),and Venus and Mars (1975). He also collaborated with his wife, Linda McCartney, on a number of albums, including Ram and Wild Life (1971).

McCartney continues to be a successful musician today. He has released a number of albums and toured extensively over the years.

George Harrison

George Harrison was the quietest Beatle, but he was also a talented musician. His 1970 album All Things Must Pass is a classic, and it contains some of his best songs, including "My Sweet Lord," "What Is Life," and "Isn't It a Pity."

Harrison also released a number of other successful albums during the 70s, including Living in the Material World (1973),Dark Horse (1974),and Extra Texture (Read All About It) (1975).

Harrison died of cancer in 2001, but his music continues to be popular today. He is considered one of the most underrated musicians of all time.

Ringo Starr

Ringo Starr was the drummer for the Beatles, but he also released a number of solo albums during the 70s. His most successful album was Ringo (1973),which contained the hit singles "Photograph" and "You're Sixteen." Starr also released a number of other albums during the 70s, including Goodnight Vienna (1974),Ringo's Rotogravure (1976),and Bad Boy (1977).

Starr continues to be a successful musician today. He has released a number of albums and toured extensively over the years.

The Beatles were one of the most successful bands of all time, but their solo careers were also very successful.
